The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. Qualifications Significant processing experience required. Sunquest or Beaker experience required. Prior leadership experience required. High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of phlebotomy program. 2 years phlebotomy experience. National certification (NCCT or ASCP) or equivalent. Knowledge of venipuncture techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude. Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems. Continuous improvement mindset. Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients. Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube.
