Assistant Manager PrideStaff is seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Manager to join the team at a rapidly growing, popular national brand specializing in superfood bowls, smoothies, and other healthy menu items. The Assistant Manager is critical to the store's success, supporting the General Manager in all daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development Shift Management: Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD), overseeing all shift operations, ensuring efficiency, and upholding company policies. Coaching & Training: Successfully onboard, train, and mentor team members in customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols. Scheduling: Assist with creating and maintaining weekly schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and effective labor cost management. Operational Excellence & Quality Control Product Standards: Ensure all specialty bowls and menu items are prepared accurately and consistently, meeting high standards for quality and presentation.

Inventory & Ordering: Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, receiving deliveries, and conducting accurate weekly physical inventory counts to minimize waste. Compliance: Strictly adhere to and enforce all local and state health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines. Customer & Financial Oversight Service: Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences, promptly resolving guest concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction. Cash Management: Oversee Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, manage cash drops, and assist with daily financial reconciliation.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of proven supervisory or management experience in a high-volume retail, fast-casual, or food service environment. Availability: Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
