Unlock your potential at Grand Strand Medical Center Job Summary and Qualifications Position Summary: As the primary representative for hospital administration, the Administrative Supervisor uses clinical expertise and management skills to direct implementation of administrative plans into efficient economical quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor coordinates the activities of the hospital after office hours, seven days a week by serving as a resource supervisory person to all departments. What qualifications you will need: Active Registered Nurse Licensed to Practice in South Carolina Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider or Instructor through American Red Cross or American Heart Association Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum of three years recent nursing practice required, with at least two years of experience as a Permanent Charge Nurse or a nursing leadership position preferred. Physically and mentally capable to satisfy job requirements. Special qualifications: Effective communication skills; both oral and written, with flexible interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information within all levels of the organization in stressful situations. Ability to effectively read, write and speak fluent English. Computer skills needed. Ability to manage and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong problem solving skills. Creative and innovative skills in personnel management and ability to facilitate growth and development of department and staffing.
