Faust, Inc. *is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Technician. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in HVAC (change outs and new construction). Candidates should enjoy mentoring and teaching team members, be customer service focused, are self motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to safety & job excellence. *Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:* * Install Residential HVAC systems and components per local codes, manufacturer standards, and H. J. Faust, Inc. standards. * Comply with policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area. * Fabricate, assemble, or install duct work. * Inspect and test systems to ensure proper operation. This includes balancing ducts systems, properly balancing refrigerant systems, and ensuring all components properly communicate with each other. * Install auxiliary components to heating or cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, or flue venting. * Install humidification control systems (humidifiers and de-humidifiers) * Install or repair air purification systems, such as specialized filters or ultraviolet (UV) light purification systems. * Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers. * Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams. * Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe or tubing, using pipe fitter's tools. * Complete digital job site documentation (startup process, job site pictures, checkout sheet...) * Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks * Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. * Manage jobs sites as needed and work to ensure projects are completed on time and without unnecessary material waste. *REQUIREMENTS:* - Must be located within 40 miles of Burlington at the start of employment. High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 4yr experience in the HVAC industry or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program EPA Certification Clean driving record & valid drivers license Knowledge of quality and safety standards and WI building codes *PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* Relevant industry training.
