Job Summary The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in the operation of a Papa Johns restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered, ensuring restaurant profitability. Other responsibilities include the management of operations, execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs and systems, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices. Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station, including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning. Perform assigned work station duties such as making quality products, following all product preparations procedures and maintaining established product holding times. Consistently contribute to achieving the Companys product goal. Commit to meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurants customers, minimize customer complaints and respond appropriately to customer needs. Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the TM handbook, including image (including car topper for delivery drivers), attendance, safety and security. Exemplify and exhibit the Core Values, maintain a positive attitude, work well with others and be flexible and adaptable to change. Ensure adequate shift coverage for the restaurant. Provide immediate feedback and correct problems when identified. Maintain product quality, customer service and performance responsibilities (such as MCE readiness, food/labor costs, restaurant cleanliness, etc.) within acceptable standards, following all policies and procedures related to shift management. Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System. Execute cash management duties. Assist in the management of adequate inventory levels using the companys systems and guidelines to minimize loss.
