Pay & Benefits $14.25$14.75 per hour plus digital tips* Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Domestic Partnership Benefits Paid Parental Leave FSA and HSA with Employer Contribution Commuter Benefit Program 401(k) with company match Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Discount Program Flexible work schedule Career?growth opportunities What You Bring To The Table Friendly, customer?service oriented Strong written & verbal communication Problem?solving skills Thrives in a fast?paced, noisy environment Can manage allergens (peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish) Knife skills a plus At least 18 years old Prefer minimum 1 year supervisory experience in restaurant/retail Capable of standing/walking 89 hours; lift up to 10 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally Illinois applicants: food?safety certified within 30 days (IL Dept of Public Health); otherwise ServSafe/National Registry Job Duties and Functions Lead shift team, assign tasks, provide feedback Ensure security, back?of?house procedural standards Count drawers and follow daily cash handling procedures Prepare high?quality sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc. Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, kitchen safety Restock food line, chips, cooler; clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash Operate cash register: handle, balance, follow all cash procedures Effectively handle customer complaints/issues Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 18 years old 1 year supervisory experience preferred Ability to stand/walk for 89 hours; lift up to 10 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally Food Safety Certification required; if fail after two attempts, not eligible for management role. Food Safety Certification All Shift Leaders must train and pass a Food Safety Certification course. Illinois applicants must obtain certification from the Illinois Department of Public Health within 30 days of employment; other states require ServSafe or equivalent.
