Base Pay Range $18.00/hr $18.00/hr Overview As a Program Coordinator, you will be an integral member of our mission to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and senior citizens in affordable housing communities. PRS provides quality social assistance to residents through programs designed to raise culture, life skills, and family standards. Essential Functions Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to all residents, serving as an initial point of contact at the community center. Prepare reports based on the distributed calendar, sign?in sheets, and the number of contracted program hours each month. Design, create, and post monthly calendars and flyers, distributing them to units and public areas. Oversee program offerings and activities, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and collaborate with community partners. Log communications with volunteers, partners, and donors on a regular basis and submit monthly logs. Provide information about local resources or assistance to residents. Encourage resident participation in program planning and activities to assess whether additional services are needed. Interact independently with children, adults, and seniors, ensuring their safety and engagement. Maintain sign?in sheets for all activities and programs. Manage the tax?exempt certificate, monitor petty cash, and replenish consumables and office supplies. Supervise the use of the community center, keeping it clean and organized. Organize PRS binders, documents, and forms, ready to present upon request to property management. Perform other duties as assigned by direct management or PRS corporate staff. Qualifications Must be available to work 23 days per week (12?5?pm Monday?Friday). Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required (12 times per quarter). Relevant experience in education, social work, non?profit, or a related field; volunteer experience considered. Experience working with children, teens, adults, and/or seniors. Ability to work independently, multitask, and exercise sound judgment. Exceptional organizational, computer, and administrative skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with community and social service resources. Must have a home computer, access to email, and capability to do light printing.
