Responsibilities: Draw patient blood samples, process them correctly, and package them appropriately, performing this task 25-30 times per day. Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws, and arrange for the pickup and shipping of samples to the medical testing sites. Essential Skills: At least 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with duties including drawing, processing, and packaging samples. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate. Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer order of draw tube colors for multiple tube collections. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma. Work Environment: The position requires a commitment to working Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with a training schedule varying in Farmington (2 weeks). The worksite will be in Auburn Hills. Job Type & Location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
