Avionics Technician III Location: Denver, CO Pay Rate: $40/hr Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician III to perform advanced avionics maintenance, installation, testing, and troubleshooting on aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with complex electronic systems and wiring, as well as a solid understanding of FAA and FCC regulations. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics systems and components in accordance with FCC, FAA, and company standards. Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to complete wiring and system installations. Route, solder, crimp, and repair electrical wiring according to engineering drawings and technical data. Operate and maintain test equipment, hand tools, and manuals required for maintenance and calibration. Perform functional tests to verify proper operation of avionics equipment and systems. Document work performed in accordance with applicable regulatory and company standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies. Support troubleshooting activities and assist in identifying root causes of system issues. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED and typically 5+ years of relevant avionics experience (a higher-level degree may substitute for experience). Strong knowledge of avionics systems, including installation, wiring, and repair techniques. Ability to interpret and apply technical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance publications. Advanced skills in soldering, crimping, and wiring installation. Must have own tools in good working condition. Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including standing, walking, and climbing. Ability to work in varied environments, including outdoor conditions and exposure to loud noises.
