Epic Physician Billing Analyst / Epic Professional Billing Analyst This vital role ensures accurate patient billing, claims processing, and reimbursement for services provided by doctors, providers, therapists. etc. Why You Should Apply Onsite to start, Hybrid schedule after training, transitions to 2 days remote / 3 days - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in-office in Hicksville/Garden City, NY Work with a high-performing team focused on cutting-edge Epic optimization Epic PB certification required Opportunity to influence key financial workflows in a major healthcare system Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday; on-call support rotation required What You’ll Be Doing Configure, maintain, and optimize the Epic Professional Billing (PB) module Manage and troubleshoot work queues, claim scrubbers, charge routers, and payment processors Build, test, and implement system enhancements and workflow improvements Partner cross-functionally with IT, finance, and end-users to align system use with business needs Deliver end-user training and maintain internal documentation Stay up to date with Epic releases and compliance regulations About You Be able to do the job as described Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Epic Professional Billing certification required 3+ years experience working within Epic PB, with deep understanding of charge router, benefit engine, collection agency workflows, and estimates Experience with system configuration and troubleshooting tools. Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing codes, and insurance procedures. Familiarity with the differences between professional billing and hospital billing. Knowledge of medical coding systems like CPT and ICD-10
