We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Program Supervisors for our Before School Program at Myers Corners Elementary in Wappingers Falls, NY. PAY: $16.00 per hour plus our new employer paid childcare benefit SCHEDULE: 6:20 am - 8:30 am JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt JOB INVOLVES: Engaging in direct, hands-on experiences using our Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes everything from physical fitness and STEAM to academic exploration, artistic activities, and beyond. And yes homework help is part of the package Foster a secure, healthy, and incredibly fun setting where children can truly flourish. Be the positive role model they’re excited to see each day. Support the Site Director with selected management responsibilities such as maintaining accurate attendance, assisting with registration, and coordinating staffing. Step in as the lead when the Site Director is away. Keep families in the loop by regularly updating them via the Playground App because sharing those special moments matters. Stay current and compliant by adhering to OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and the policies of our partner school. Collaborate frequently with the Director to address concerns, make informed decisions, and strategize on immediate priorities. REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of hands-on experience with children under age 13. OR A School-Age Child Care Credential or other OCFS-recognized credential focused on school-age development, along with one year of relevant experience. OR An associate degree in Child Development, Elementary or Physical Education, Recreation, or a closely related discipline. QUALIFICATIONS: You’ve been medically cleared fit to perform all essential job tasks and free from communicable illnesses like TB. You're outgoing, approachable, and energetic. Strong interpersonal skills come naturally, whether interacting with children, parents, or your team. Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are a given. You're physically ready to move bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, and keeping pace with active kids is all part of your day.
