Job Description SummaryThe Corporate Development Director at GE Aerospace manages the day-to-day development and execution of strategic transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures and joint ventures) and corporate strategy projects, and will serve as a primary liaison between the Corporate Development team and one of our P&Ls. In this role, you will play a key part in the continued inorganic growth of GE Aerospace.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities Serve as the primary lead with key P&L stakeholders, facilitating collaboration to reach consensus on potential inorganic opportunitiesExecute day-to-day components of M&A transactions, e.g., due diligence, forecast and valuation model development, synergies identification, marketing materials developmentAssist Corporate Development leaders in evaluating the financial costs and benefits of potential inorganic opportunitiesSupport leaders in strategic planning/gameboard developmentLead and collaborate with cross-functional deal teams and external advisors.Coach and provide direction to the Corporate Development Senior Managers and Associates and other deal team membersLiaise and negotiate with potential buyers/sellers on certain aspects of the transactionsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMinimum 9 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Financial AnalysisDue to the nature of our projects US Citizenship is requiredValuation and deal modeling experienceProficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (domestically and potentially internationally)Fluency in EnglishDesired Characteristics MBA or other related Master's degree from an accredited university or collegeDemonstrated ability to lead complex transactionsKnowledge of the aerospace and defense industriesStrong project management skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and work productively in a cross functional and matrixed environmentGood communication skills, both written (presentations, memos) and oral, and experience engaging with leadershipStrong ability to analyze data/information, formulate accurate conclusions and develop action plansReviewing, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents to ensure they align with business objectivesGE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
