Are you ready to take the next step in your technical career? We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Stafford, TX. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You'll perform detailed inspections using precision and non-precision measurement tools, follow established procedures and standards, and help maintain our dedication to excellence in every product we deliver In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responsible for the evaluation of a finished product for quality and reliability Performs inspection tasks anywhere in the facility or outside of the facility as directed Troubleshoots rejected materials and communicates with the Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor Determines and documents findings of inspection tasks (i.e. accepts or rejects) Who You Are: You quickly and decisively act in fact-changing, unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators. You build and implement plans that allocate resources accurately. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches. You find common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple partners. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. For This Role, You Will Need: High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED required Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a Quality Inspector in an industrial manufacturing environment Understands quality management systems Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing drawings Understands and is proficient with micrometers, dial bore gauges, snap ring gauges, plug gauges, thread gauges and other measurement tools and equipment Communicates effectively; good oral/written communication skills Understands CMM programming (preferred) Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
