Rig Systems Specialist III

Rig Systems Specialist III deliver exceptional service quality in the oil and gas industry. In this dynamic role, you'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize rig systems performance, and serve as the key interface with clients at well sites. Senior specialists will mentor junior team members while applying extensive knowledge to improve product quality and operational procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze data to recommend optimal services and solutions for rig systemsPerform engineering checks on client locations including calculations and software computationsManage installation of complex equipment and services in field environmentsTest, operate, and maintain specialized tools according to established proceduresLead equipment failure investigations and contribute to Root Cause Analysis reportsServe as the primary interface with clients at well sitesDevelop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure repeat businessInterpret technical data for client representatives to optimize servicesManage Weatherford personnel at well sites during service assignmentsUphold the highest standards of safety, security, and environmental protectionParticipate in safety meetings, Job Hazard Analysis, and promptly report issuesEnsure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry best practicesQualifications2½-4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryHigh School DiplomaStrong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulicsProficiency in mathematics, basic physics, and computer fundamentalsCritical thinking and complex problem-solving abilitiesTechnical Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational SchoolAdditional InformationAvailable on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needsTravel requirement: 50-75% domestic and potentially internationalPhysical capability to perform required field tasks#LI-KP1About UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
