Support will concern upgrades and modernization of range capabilities. In addition, the technician will support testing and reside primarily at RTC's TA-5 Propulsion Test Division.What you'll do all day:Technician will be required to provide electrician support for operations in and around Test Stand/fixtures; Operate and maintain equipment for test support The technician will work as a team member required to plan, setup, install, troubleshoot/maintain range electrical and fiber lines, Support senior engineers and technicians during test operations on local test ranges as well as CONUS travel missions on other DoD test ranges.You will love this job if you:Are a self-starter and require little oversight to complete given tasks?Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.Love working with diverse groups of individuals, including engineers and technicians.Are good at communicating with people.Have a positive attitude.Enjoy multitasking.Minimum requirements for this position:7 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 3 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 4 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area.Instrumentation - Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of 4 years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.HS Diploma/Associate DegreeMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)What we offer:Competitive salaries.Continuing education assistance.Professional development allotment.Multiple healthcare benefit packages.401K with employer matching.Paid time off (PTO) along with federally recognized holiday schedule.
