If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for our open positions and become a part of our team.This position is for a 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician at our facility in Charlotte, NC.Your RoleMakes critical decisions for the repair mechanical and electrical issues and conducts mechanical and electrical repairs.Fabricates parts on a lathe or mill is a plus but not requiredPerforms mechanical/electrical trouble shooting by reading and interpreting blueprints.Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.Research part numbers for various machines.Understand and input information into maintenance software.Escorts pest control technicians if needed.Participates in cost savings measures.Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsPerforms other duties that are maintenance relatedYour ProfileMinimum QualificationsMinimum two years Technical school certificate in Industrial Technology or related field required. Five+ years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing environment required.Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude.PLC knowledge and troubleshooting control circuits is requiredOffset printing, Die Cutting and Folder Gluer experience preferredBasic welding knowledge a plus.Basic plumbing experience a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to work unsupervised.Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsInterpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Use of basic computer skills.Manage multiple projects simultaneously; multi-tasking.Good organizational skillsSense of urgencyAbility to work well with outside vendors and internal customers.Our OfferWe offer you a workplace in a stable environment at an international company which is an industry leader.
