Read on to learn more____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Job Types:Contract - Part-Time with a buildable schedulePay: $55.00-$70.00 per hourLicense/Certification in the state of FloridaWork Location - Our office close to Florida MallBenefits:Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo nightsNo weekendsOT - Occupational Therapist (1 Position Available)ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive skills.Provide therapy services in clinic setting.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning for patients transitioning from intensive care units (ICU) or other settings.Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy, including advancements in anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.QualificationsA degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in pediatric settings or early intervention programs is preferred.Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to occupational therapy practices.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs and progress.
