Pile Driving Superintendent

Ready to build a lasting future? Join our team today#LI-KG1Key Responsibilities:The Pile Driving Superintendent will provide overall support and leadership to pile driving crews on a project site. They must work closely with Project Management to identify and mitigate project issues that affect safety, quality, budget, and schedule.Set daily work objectives that meet the goals of the schedule and communicate them to the crew while encouraging the crew's input in the setting of the goals. Schedule and request needed personnel as indicated for timely project completion in conjunction with project managementDetermine and recommend improvements in methods, schedules, and procedures where practical on the projectInspect materials when delivered to ensure they comply with quality standards and specifications.Ensure material is delivered to the construction site per established agreements and in a timely fashion.Meet contract specifications and company quality standards.Report daily time of crew, equipment, and materials used, as well as quantities of work completed.Report any extra work, back charges to subcontractors, or delays caused by owner, utility company, or others.Perform other related duties as required of the position or as assigned by supervision.Travel as required; may include, but not limited to meetings, regular site construction support, training, etc.Qualifications:3-5 years' experience as a working superintendentGood communication skills, both written as well as able to effectively verbally communicate with team members, suppliers, and any related project stakeholdersStrong organizational, planning, and time management skills; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks concurrentlyDriven and self-motivated problem solverOpen to learn new processes and proceduresPhysical Requirements:Must comply with company's drug and alcohol abuse policy.Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company.Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces.Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs.
