You will have significant influence in the direction and growth the business.Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.• You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a residential service electrician is a must• Maintain compliance with both the company safety and federal OSHA safety standards. Implement necessary protocols and safeguards during any given job.• Have the ability to identify problems with common wiring such as panel imbalance, improper breaker usage, lack of protective devices such as GFI's, etc.• Have a basic knowledge of frame carpentry and construction techniques. The ability to lead and inspire apprentice electricians when needed to provide field support.• You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for.Here's How We Measure Success• High Quality of Work - The work needs to be done correctly, the first time. You must meet the needs of our customers so we can run a healthy business that takes care of our team.How to Know If You Are a Good FitAs a Mr. Electric service electrician,• You focus on the positive and enjoy being around upbeat people.• You keep your promises to the customer and the team.• You are detail-oriented, both in your work and when communicating with the customers.• You are professional by nature, and it shows up in everything you do.• You are comfortable with using technology, especially a tablet while in the field.• You enjoy meeting new people and building new relationships.• You welcome feedback and are always looking to sharpen your skills.Job RequirementsThe following are the minimum requirements for the Residential Electrician position.• Minimum 1year of prior professional-level electrical experience as a card-carrying Journeyman Electrician• Valid driver's license and clean driving record• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds.• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and comfortable working at various heights using ladders, scaffold or other as necessary.• Must have his/her own set of journeyman electrical hand tools. For the right candidate, we will consider your request for more.Our Electricians are paid a base hourly wage PLUS incentives based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability.ORAfter your initial time starting in the position, you can move over into an incentive-based commission structure that will allow you to have uncapped earning potential This move will be verified profitable prior to moving you from an hourly based pay structure.We take care of setting all the appointments so you can focus on doing what you do best - servicing our customers' homes.Schedule8-hour shiftMonday through FridayOn CallLocationsBoise, Meridian and surrounding areas.
