KBS is recruiting for an Industrial & Commercial Construction Foreman We are looking for a candidate who is capable of performing, overseeing, and/or coordinating activities of employees and subcontractors that handle minor maintenance and engineering tasks as well as carpentry, fabrication, welding, and equipment setting. This is a working foreman position that will coordinate subcontractors as necessary and lead and work alongside KBS employees. The work environment of this position will typically be in an industrial setting.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCapable of performing layout, reading blueprints, assigning duties, planning the next tasks, inspections, timekeeping, and making sure materials and tools are available for the crews as directed by the superintendent.Executes tasks and activities as directed and in accordance with plans and specifications provided by the superintendent.May be responsible for reporting the crew's daily production and assisting the superintendent with production goals, solving problems, and task planning.Provides on-the-job training for company apprentices.Ensures compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent's task plans.Coordinates with other trades on jobsite to ensure job schedules are met.Fosters a positive attitude within the crew.Watches for compliance with safety policies.Keeps jobsite clean and free of debris as needed for a safe environment.Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the superintendent.Required Skills and AbilitiesKnow, understand, and live the KBS Mission, Vision, and Core Values and use them to guide daily activities.Consistently show up on time and ready to work productively each day.Good work ethic.Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.Ability to perform basic math.Ability to follow directions and follow through with task at hand.Ability to meet production goals.A willingness to always follow safety guidelines and maintain safe work environment.Proficiency with using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (such as powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)Promote teamwork and a positive attitude.Represent company in a professional manner.Perform quality work with NO rework.
