Plumbers collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure company procedures are followed.What Do You Offer Us?Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixturesCollaborate with other construction professionalsFollow building plans and blueprintsRespond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergenciesPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systemsLight construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as requiredPrepare bids, budgets, and cost estimatesKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials usedOther related duties and projects as assignedWhat We Offer You:* Company website: To apply go to our website at mearscareers.net* Industry-leading benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paidtime off (PTO) and 401(k).What is Required?3-5 Years field experience or Military equivalentSkilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing tradeKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesAbility to read and follow blueprints and rough drawingsFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copperEffective oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to complete projects unsupervised and unassistedExcellent problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurementsAbility to work extended hours when necessary for business needsExperience working in construction is a plusDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility and willingness to travel as neededAbility to maintain valid driver's licenseWalking 100% of the day on uneven groundSquatting 50% of the dayKneeling 50% of the dayStanding 100% of the dayWorking with small hand tools for 30% of the dayWorking in outside environment 100% of the dayMay work more than 8 hours a dayWill lift more than 75 lbs. 30% of the dayWill lift at least 50 lbs. 50% of the dayThis position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
