Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary and K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Sanford, NC. This contract position spans from late January through late May, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week within an engaging educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services primarily to an elementary caseload, with additional responsibilities extending to K-12 students. Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication development. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school policies and compliance standards.
Participate in meetings and consultations related to student educational progress. Desired Qualifications:Hold an active North Carolina license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
Experience
working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children. Strong interpersonal skills conducive to effective collaboration in multidisciplinary educational teams. Commitment to onsite work, as teletherapy options are not available for this role. Location:Onsite position based within an elementary school in the Sanford, NC area.
