If so, Children's Friend wants you on our teamWe are looking for a Behavior Support Specialist who thrives in a dynamic early childhood setting. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact on the behavioral, social-emotional, and academic growth of young children-especially those with unique challenges and strengths.What You'll Do:Deliver therapeutic and behavioral interventions, including ABA strategies and de-escalation techniques.Partner with lead teachers to embed individualized plans into daily classroom life.Support children during instruction, play, transitions, dismissal-and every moment in between.Step in during classroom crises with calm, compassionate problem-solving.Track student progress through consistent, accurate documentation.Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.Collaborate in a trauma-informed, equity-centered environment. What You Bring:CDA Required, or associate or bachelors degree. Early Childhood or related field preferred.3-5 years of experience working with preschoolers with behavioral needs required; ABA experience a plus.Strong communication skills and a team mindset.Flexibility, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential of every child.Bilingual skills are a plus Why Join Children's Friend?At Children's Friend, we believe every child deserves a strong start.
