Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Technology Infrastructure Project ManagerPay: 70/hr on W2Work Location: Owings Mills, MD, Hybrid Summary:The Technology Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, large-scale infrastructure projects and initiatives across T. Rowe Price. This role will partner with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with business objectives, and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure (networking, servers, cloud, data centers), excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.• Manage and oversee project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management, and other project documentation preparation and turnover to production for technology projects of high complexity.• Drive collaboration between technical teams (network, server, storage, cloud, security) and business units to ensure project alignment.• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications, providing clear and concise reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery as required for infrastructure projects.• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts, escalating as appropriate.• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors• Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.• PMP or PMI certification• 10+ years’ experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects, preferably in a financial services or regulated industry.• Proven experience delivering projects involving networking, server infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, and data center operations.• Strong understanding of ITIL, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure best practices.• Exceptional leadership, communication, team-building and interpersonal skills.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Planner).• Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive results across cross-functional teams.• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environmentCompany DescriptionStaffing Company (Confidential)Company DescriptionStaffing Company (Confidential)
