We believe in the power of collaboration and mutual support.Alternate Job Title: Portable Sanitation DriverJob Summary: The Pump Truck Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck.Job Classification: Full-time & Part-time; non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.Location: Rosharon, TX areaPay Range: $18 to $24Responsibilities:Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle prior to embarking on the route.Refuels the truck and performs basic maintenance.Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on the truck by appropriate mechanics.Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documents the same.Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.Performs other related duties as assigned.
