Our innovative solutions, skilled workforce, and commitment to safety set us apart, making us the employer of choice for talented professionals.We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our Service Team. The Fabricator will be responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work on tank trailers, ensuring all equipment meets DOT, HM, and company standards. This role requires a strong technical background, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.Position Responsibilities• Perform fabrication, welding, and modifications on tank trailers, including aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components.• Repair or replace damaged structural components, side section, pitting and other tank trailer repairs• Ensure all work complies with DOT and HM regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.• Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, grinders, torches, and other shop tools.• Inspect trailers for cracks, leaks, pitting, or other structural issues and document required repairs.• Work closely with service advisors and service manager to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following company and OSHA safety guidelines.• Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians or apprentices as needed.Requirements• 3+ years of fabrication and welding experience, preferably in the tank trailer or heavy equipment industry.• Proficiency in MIG, and Tig with multiple metals (stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel).• Strong knowledge of DOT and HM regulations related to tank trailers.• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical trailer systems is a plus.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various positions (standing, crouching, overhead).Physical Requirements• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, climb and sit for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with customers, management, and team members.• Travel as needed to other Company locations by vehicle, plane, or train.• Reasonable accommodation will be provided for those requiring assistance.Why Choose Kraft Tank Corporation?• Competitive Pay and Benefits• Comprehensive Training Programs to foster your growth• A supportive and dynamic environment• Opportunities to work with industry leaders and cutting-edge technology• A company that values safety, quality, and the contributions of its team membersIf you're looking to enhance your career and join a company that values its employees and sets the standard in the tank industry, apply today to become a part of the Kraft Tank family
