Cradle to grave ownership of new products.Lead team to deliver technical proposal (design concept, compliance matrix, cost estimate and timeline.Support the hardware and software design groups, as well as the verification and validation stream, in the interpretation of requirements for implementation and testabilityCompose system requirements and decompose to lower levels for aerospace technologies such as high-speed digital busses, small form-factor power supplies, air data computing devices using CPUs, microcontrollers, DSPs, etc.Direct interaction with customers and international travelMentor and elevate the team, sharing expertise and modeling curiosity, accountability and respect Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Aerospace new product developmentExperience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO-178B with verification and validation activitiesExperience with electronic hardware and firmware design What You Bring:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Aerospace new product development.Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives that move the needleClear, confident communicator who thrives in diverse, collaborative environmentsHigh integrity and ownership mindset - you do the right thing, even when it's hardMust be able to work with ITAR products and related data without restriction Physical Requirements:Restrictions are limited only by individual's inability to perform essential job duties and where an unsafe condition would result for the individual or surrounding employeesRequired lifting weight: 35 lbs.
