They are responsible for building a large statewide organizing program from hiring staff to developing and implementing tactics, systems, and structure. They will lead a designated part of the state's organizing program to meet voters where they are at and hit high voter contact goals. They will report to the General Election Director and collaborate with other Organizing Managers to reach voters everywhere. At their core Organizing Managers are excellent organizers and people managers, excel at building programs and structures, and love developing the skills of staff.Responsibilities:Manage Deputy Organizing Directors to meet voter contact and capacity building goals.Adapt and implement the statewide organizing program for their segment of the state to effectively meet the needs of voters there.Hire and develop staff and team leadership for organizing programs. Set goals to achieve strategic imperatives within the state program in conjunction with the General Election Director.Implement traditional and creative tactics to drive high-quality voter contact and volunteer recruitment.Determine staff and volunteer training program and schedule in conjunction with the General Election Director and Training Team.You'd be a good fit for this role if...Four cycles of organizing experience and three cycles of staff management experience is preferred, including at least one cycle managing managers.Ability to manage a diverse team with different experiences and perspectives, and a commitment to helping them grow and succeed.Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals and enthusiasm for electing Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot.
