About the Role We're hiring a Senior Water Resource Project Manager on behalf of our client, a well-respected civil engineering design firm with a strong regional reputation. This role is ideal for someone who is technically skilled, highly organized, and passionate about leading impactful stormwater and floodplain projects within a collaborative, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and management of stormwater infrastructure, floodplain modeling, and dam safety permitting projects. Oversee construction inspections and administration, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance. Manage hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, and Flowmaster. Mentor junior engineers, supervise team members, and foster professional development. Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely project outcomes. What We're Looking For 6 years of experience in water resources or civil engineering Proven expertise in stormwater, floodplain modeling, and dam safety permitting Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Proficiency in AutoCAD and H&H modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8) Why Work With Us?
