We are looking for those looking to be part of this exciting endeavor and share our mission of being the best waste solutions company in Texas.As they say, "There is no business, like trash business."What We Are Looking ForDRIVER - CONTAINER DELIVERYPOSITION SUMMARYDriver operates a heavy-duty crane mounted truck that transports containers to/from customerslocations. Size of truck is more than 5 tons.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Positions and / or returns container on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lidsand or doors are properly replaced, and do not block driveway entrances or traffic.* Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and pickup ofcontainers to ensure timely service* Maintains radio or telephone communications with dispatcher and supervisor to receiveinstructions or notice of changes concerning deliveries or pickups* Maintains route sheets, vehicle inspection records, and follows all federal and state DOTregulations* Safely operates equipment to pick up/drop off containers* Operates truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate Driver inducedmechanical failuresCompletes pre-trip - post trip inspections and reports dailyCommunicates vehicle mechanical problems immediatelyMaintains route quality safety and service standardsMaintains clean vehicle interior and exteriorComplies with all mandatory safety meetings & briefings, operational standards & policies, andmaintains a valid Texas CDL and DOT medical card* Reports all safety and service incidents to the Supervisor immediatelyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 years of satisfactory driving experience of Class AHighly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this jobExcellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with customers, dispatchers,mechanics and other driversAbility to perform simple mathematical calculationsExcellent driving skillsSkills: Basic use of Tablets and ApplicationsPass drug screen and criminal background checkSuccessfully complete and pass a written and road testMeet all Federal & State DOT requirementsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to pass a DOT physicalRequire to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 100 pounds frequentlyRequire pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 100 poundsMust be able to climb into and out of truck several times per day using 3 points of contactMust be able to sit for long periods as well as walk for short periodsMust be able to bend, stoop, crawl and squat in order to perform a full inspection of theunderside of the truck and inspect tires for adequate inflation and potential damage* Must be able to work outside for short periods of time in all types of weather* Must be able to see and hear proficiently to operate a commercial motor vehicle in a safemanner* Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environmentEDUCATION* High School Diploma or GED equivalentLICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS* Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
