Job DescriptionJob DescriptionElectrical & Controls Designer Position OverviewWe are seeking an Electrical & Controls Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, organized, and results-driven individual who enjoys solving complex challenges and delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and controls design, control panel layout, instrumentation, and CAD drafting.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for industrial applicationsCreate control panel layouts, loop diagrams, ladder diagrams, one-line diagrams, and conduit routingPerform load calculations and develop intrinsic safety circuitsUse CAD software (AutoCAD or ePlan) to produce accurate and detailed drawingsEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client specificationsPrepare technical documentation, including specifications for electrical equipment and materialsCollaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure successful project executionParticipate in drawing reviews and peer review processesQualifications3-8 years of experience in electrical and controls design or instrumentationProficiency in control panel design and control system layoutExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD or ePlan)Familiarity with drawing standards and documentation best practicesKnowledge of applicable electrical codes and standardsDegree in electronics, instrumentation, or controls is preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsStakeholders bonus (additional profit sharing) is typically between 4% and 8%.Healthcare, Dental, Vision Employee healthcare 100% paid Dependents healthcare 50% paid HRA/DRA/LPV Visa card for out of pocket expenses (helps offset copay and deductible) $3000 $60 cell phone reimbursement Spot bonus program on additional billable hours 9 paid holidays - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
