Job DescriptionBel-Air Manor is a 71-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Newington, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor. Come join our teamRN Supervisor Job Summary:The Registered Nurse supervisor will oversee day-to-day nursing activities in the facility, including developing work assignments, ensuring sufficient staffing and maintaining good working rapport.RN Supervisor Responsibilities:• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.• Ensure that direct nursing care is provided by a licensed nurse, a certified nursing assistant, and/or a nurse aide trainee qualified to perform the procedure• Ensure that all RNs and LPNs on your shift comply with written procedures for the administration, storage, and control of medications and supplies.• Provide leadership training that includes the administrative and supervisory principles essential for your Charge Nurses.• Ensure that nursing service personnel follow established infection control procedures when isolation precautions become necessary.Benefits: (*applies to 24 hours or more,**Full-Time only)• Competitive pay• Shift differentials• Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance*• Paid Time Off*• 401(k) with employer match*• Employer Paid Life Insurance• Paid Meal Period• Paid Holiday Off**• Employee Assistance Program• Longevity Credit**• Short- & Long-Term Disability*• Uniform Reimbursement• Employee Referral Program• Free ParkingRN Supervisor Requirements:• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of a Connecticut approved RN program.• Must possess a current certification as a Nurses Aide.• Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.• Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.• Proof of Covid19 vaccination• Proof of Covid 19 boosterDiversity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity here.
