We prioritize quality over quantity, caregiver partnership, and a sustainable work environment where your expertise is valued and your impact is real.Job SummaryThe Early Intervention Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting toddlers with developmental delays and their families. This position blends classroom leadership, developmental assessment, caregiver coaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure each child receives individualized, high-quality early intervention services in a nurturing and inclusive environment.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or a related field (required)Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs in a home-based or classroom settingDemonstrated experience leading classes, conducting developmental assessments, writing progress reports, and developing individualized goalsStrong understanding of infant and toddler development and the importance of the caregiver-child relationshipAbility to build collaborative, supportive relationships with families, coworkers, and supervisorsStrong time-management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust pass TB testing, criminal background clearance, and maintain current First Aid & CPR certificationResponsibilities:Lead an early intervention class for children ages 18 months–3, including collaborative curriculum development and individualized classroom activitiesCoach and empower caregivers to actively support their child’s development, ensuring carry-over of goals at home and in the communityCollaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including OTs, SLPs, RBTs, BCBAs, classroom staff, and the Program DirectorConduct developmental assessments across domains using standardized tools such as the DAYC-2Supervise and support the classroom team through coaching, observation, performance evaluations, training, and regular team meetings to ensure high-quality instruction, professional growth, and consistent educational standards.Oversee classroom operations and compliance, including daily preparedness, collaboration with preschool leadership, adherence to curriculum timelines and state licensing requirements, and completion of assigned cleaning and weekly duties.Prepare comprehensive developmental progress reports and maintain accurate session notesMonitor and track client goals to support measurable developmental progressParticipate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven environmentCompensation & BenefitsHourly Pay Range: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on education and experience$2,000 Signing Bonus, paid after 90 days of employment, contingent upon:Demonstrated good performanceSuccessful acclimation to the roleEffective integration into the School of Imagination’s program and team100% employer-paid medical benefit options for employeesDental and vision coverage401(k) retirement planComprehensive paid time off + sick daysProfessional development opportunities aligned with individual interests and DEI initiativesSupportive team culture with an emphasis on self-care and reflective supervisionSchool of Imagination is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
