Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support a full-time, onsite itinerant role serving students from infancy through age 22. The position will be based in Riverside, CA, within a K-12 educational setting, and offers a contract through the current school year ending in early June 2026.Key Responsibilities:Providing direct instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 35 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, spanning infant through young adult agesDelivering early intervention services, including supporting Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Collaborating with educational teams, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive supportConducting consults and participating in multidisciplinary meetingsUtilizing specialized skills to address the unique communication and learning needs of students with hearing lossBeing an active part of the educational program with available support resourcesQualifications and Experience:Valid CTC Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) AuthorizationProven experience working with infants and familiarity with IFSP processesAbility to manage a caseload effectively while providing high-quality, individualized instructionStrong communication and collaboration skills suited for consultative and team-oriented environmentsLocation:Riverside, California, onsite onlyWorking Hours:Full time, 37.5 hours per weekThis role offers an excellent chance to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of students with hearing challenges across a broad age range.
