Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.Job Responsibilities: Process regular payroll cycles for employees across multiple office locationsMaintain accurate payroll records, including updates for new hires, terminations, and compensation changesEnsure payroll operations comply with current tax laws and employment regulationsGenerate and distribute payroll summaries and reports for internal reviewRespond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and benefit-related matters Requirements: Prior experience handling payroll functions in a multi-location or multi-state environmentFamiliarity with payroll tax filings and year-end reporting such as W-2 formsAbility to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams to ensure data accuracyStrong attention to detail when managing sensitive employee and financial informationProficiency with payroll software and systems used for processing and reporting Qualifications: A solid understanding of labor laws and payroll compliance standardsExcellent communication skills for addressing employee concerns and cross-team coordinationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines effectivelyExperience supporting audits or providing payroll documentation when requestedAbility to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data with minimal supervisionREF #51005#LI-DD1
