The Lakeshore Chinooks are seeking a creative and organized Social Media & Content Creation Intern to help tell the stories of the Lakeshore Chinooks, Jr. Chinooks, and Milwaukee Baseball Academy during the off-season. This position focuses on planning, producing, and scheduling engaging content that strengthens our brand presence and builds excitement leading into the 2026 season.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a content calendar for all three brands (Chinooks, Jr. Chinooks, MBA).Create engaging photo, video, and graphic content for social media, email, and digital platforms.Capture behind-the-scenes content at winter events, training sessions, and community appearances.Assist with digital storytelling to highlight players, alumni, coaches, and community partners.Draft creative captions and copy that match each brand's voice and audience.Edit short-form videos for Reels/TikTok to promote upcoming events and programs.Monitor and report on engagement metrics and suggest content adjustments.Collaborate with marketing and operations staff to align content with promotions and key dates.Support in updating website content and managing photo/video libraries.Qualifications:Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.Experience with photo and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) preferred.Organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.Excellent writing and communication skills.Available for weekly meetings and occasional events or photo/video shoots.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Are you local?
