Job DescriptionGeneral PurposeThe Recruitment Specialist is responsible for researching, developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies through full recruiting cycles of sourcing, screening, interviewing, pre-employment checks, and hiring.Qualifications2+ previous years of Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experiencePreferred BA degree in Human or Resources or similar relevant field or recruiting or marketing experience in a healthcare settingIn-depth knowledge of candidate selection methodsExcellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processesHands on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to travel within a selected region to perform assigned dutiesAbility to multitask and prioritize daily workloadCreate thinking and proactive problem solverA positive, "can do" attitudeMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand English .Must be at least 18 years oldMust be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions and Physical and Sensory Requirements for All Job Functions as outlined below..Standard RequirementsSupport the Mission, Values, and Vision of NHS Management, L.L.C. and the facility.Knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere, which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.Report to Management immediately all instances of abuse, neglect, misappropriation/handling of resident property, or other concerns such as inadequate staffing, etc.Participate in all investigations as required .Follows policies for acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personalhygiene, and other work duties as assigned.Support, cooperate with, and implement specific procedures and programs for:Safety, including standard precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.Maintain confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data and comply with HIPAA Privacy and Security.Comply with all Quality Assurance and regulatory requirements.Comply with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from harassment, and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.Complete required in-service training.Support and participate in common teamwork and provide great customer serviceHave a positive frame of mind, friendly communication and genuine care and concern with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.Treat residents, families, visitors and co-workers with courtesy and respect, say please, thank you, hello, and goodbye .Cooperate and work together with all co-workers, assisting others with a cheerful and helpful attitude.Create a positive work environment by promoting dignity, respect and civility in the workplace; avoid negative behaviors that counteract a healthy work environment; treat others as you want to be treate d; avoid negative talk such as rumors and gossip.Plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment .Use tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.Follow up as appropriate with supervisor , co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.Provide Great Customer Service to internal and external customers:Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.Support facilities and facility staff in a friendly, courteous and cooperative manner.Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding HIPAA Privacy and Security, the com pany's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance, and Quality Assurance program requirements.Essential Job FunctionsPlan and implement company recruitment and talent acquisition strategy with the Director of HR/Recruiting for a particular region or regions .Contribute to the Company's policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing processesManage job posting and applicant activity in the Company applicant tracking system and human capital management systemMake facility visits and be in the regional market attending other events like career fairs, college visits, etc for no less than 80% of the working hours during the standard work week.Train new hiring managers in the Company's approved hiring process, applicant tracking system and background check systemConduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positionsPerform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needsManage recruitment and selection processes such as resume screening, screening calls, interviews, etc.Serve as brand am bassador at various events, such as career fairs or on-campus recruiting eventsRepresent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communitiesInform candidates of company benefits , salary, and company specific mission and goalsBuild long-term relationships with past and potential candidatesManage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunitiesGenerate monthly updates for company's leadership about upcoming talent acquisitions initiativesCreate monthly reports on key recruitment metrics and discuss with the Director of HR/Recruiting, Regional Administrator(s), Facility Nursing Home Administrators, Directors of Nursing and other stakeholders as the need arises.Communicate regularly with operational leaders to obtain a clear view of company's hiring needs and organizational goalsWork closely with marketing and social media department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challengesProactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologiesSuggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activitiesRequirements
