What you'll do at DBH:Supervises correction officers assigned to shift being coveredRecommends approval/disapproval of officer leave requestsCompletes shift reports for submittal to CaptainCompletes annual and probationary Performance Evaluations as assignedSupports Nursing Leadership on shift as neededTrain officers in the security operations at Timothy B. Moritz Forensic UnitMonitors & coordinates shift security operations & documents activitiesMakes daily inspection rounds to observe shift activity & to ensure compliance with all security, safety, fire, health, sanitation & other hospital regulationsResponse to emergency codes to support staff & patientsThis is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 11 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. Normal shift hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
