In this role, you will plan, coordinate, budget and supervise construction projects, including refurbishment of Sportsbook locations, from early development to completion while being an active promoter of the Caesars Digital brands. To proactively build excellent working relationships with host casino executives/owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals.HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARYSchedule multiple projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlinesManage consultants to design preliminary Sportsbook/Office floor plans that maximize space for effectiveness and efficiencyPerform ad hoc duties as requiredCollaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialistsPerform due diligence to create accurate project budgets and retrieve required approvals for capital expendituresValue engineer to complete projects at the lowest cost while maintaining qualityDirect and supervise workers, contractors, subcontractors, and other vendorsRequisition supplies and materials to complete construction projectsObtain all necessary permits and licensesInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety code and other regulationsCommunicate with Director of Construction and SVP of Operations to provide accurate reports and resolve issues in a timely and professional matterMaintain a safe working environment for all employees, contracts, subcontractors, etc.Identify and plan personal developmentPartake in regular reviewsWHAT YOU WILL NEEDMust be 21 years of age or olderBachelor's Degree requiredExperience in managing large casino and/or hotel renovationsMinimum of 2 - 5 years of relevant experience, with familiarity managing project budgets ranging from $1M to $7M.Casino experience a plusGood communication skillsFlexibility to perform different tasksEnsures high standards, shows initiative, proactivity, and professionalismHas the drive and enthusiasm for personal developmentExcellent presentation/ public speaking skillsUnderstanding of technical drawings with emphasis on low voltage/electricalRecommended to have experience with CAD and MS Project systemsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be able to travel domestically to support construction projects.Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing if requiredOTHER REQUIREMENTSMust be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periodsRegular attendance in the officeMust be able to lift, carry, pull or push 100 lbsMust be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundariesMust be able to squat or stoop with no significant boundariesMust be able to climbMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to write for extended periods of timeThis position requires a significant amount of drivingThis position will be exposed to sounds at 90 decibelsThis position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environmentRegular attendance in the officeAs a part of Caesars Sportsbook's employment process, finalist candidates will be required to complete a background check upon offer acceptance.WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is performed in both office and active construction environments.
