Assist individuals in developing the skills and resources they need to live an independent and productive life in the community. Helps consumers as they transition from one level of care to another. Reports to an administrative superior and is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care services that support the integrity.QualificationsHigh School diplomaValid Driver's LicenseApplicant must have direct personal experience living with mental illness and/or addiction and recovery and be willing to self-disclose lived experience for the purpose of education, role modeling, and providing hope to others about the reality of recovery.Applicant must complete Delaware Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Training Application.Applicant should have at least 3 months experience working or volunteering under supervision in a peer role.
