YOUR ROLE
IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTSIn this role, you'll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here-use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience. As the Dishwasher, you will sort, wash and return all dishes and utensils to food operations throughout kitchen and banquet areas. You will also expedite clean dishes and utensils to the cook line and other areas of Food/Beverage on an as-needed basis.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKEWash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion as they enter the dish roomSoak and scrub dishes that require heavy cleaningDuring prime service hours, remain focused on designated tasksWhen your station is ready for service, see who else may need help with prepping and getting readyKeep your workstation clean and organizedPractice safe knife handling; if training is needed, see the ChefScrape, sort and load dishwasherReturn all cleaned dishes, glassware, etc. to proper locationBe responsible for basic preventative maintenance of dishwashing equipment and communicating with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef when something requires attentionPerform trash removal as neededPerform other food preparation duties as determined by the Sous or Executive ChefOpen/close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen. Do not leave until a manager has inspected your stationHave fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a positive experience for our guestsGHG24 RequirementsWHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEEDYou are at least 16 years of ageYou have previous kitchen experience (preferred, but no mandatory)MANDATORY REQUIREMENTU.
