Alternative Delivery Roadway Engineer - (PE)Department: TransportationEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Orlando, FLReporting To: TJ LallathinDescriptionAre you a Transportation-focused Mid-Level Project Engineer who is experienced in Design-Build / Alternative Delivery pursuits?As an Alternative Delivery Project Engineer, you will become part of a dedicated team that provides technical and production support in the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric design, and plans production for major Alternative Delivery (Design-Build) projects and pursuits.This role can be based in Tampa, Orlando, Boca Raton or Jacksonville, FL with flexibility to work in the office or with a hybrid work schedule.This position is eligible for a sign-on-bonusGo beyond the job description: Uncover projects that ignite your passion - Alternative Delivery | DRMPYour Primary Responsibilities will includePerform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.Creation of engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.Perform advanced MicroStation/GEOPAK/OpenRoads processes using 3D modeling.Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.What you'll needB.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of transportation roadway design experienceRegistration as a Professional Engineer in Florida or the ability to obtain one within 6 monthsProficiency in MicroStation and/or OpenRoadsStrong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and Standard PlansExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesDetail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environmentValid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience working on limited-access projectsExperience working on alternative delivery / design-build projectsExperience with 3D corridor modelingDRMP OffersExcellent compensation packageOutstanding holiday and paid-time-off programs401(k) Plan and Match Career Path Development Program (Management & Technical Career Tracks)Mentorship ProgramTuition ReimbursementParental LeaveCompetitive health and dental insurance premiums Variety of voluntary benefit options Short-Term Disability/Long-Term DisabilityCompany-furnished life insuranceEmployee Assistant Program (EAP)Flexible Spending Accountand MoreDRMP is a Drug and Alcohol-Free workplace, an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and E-Verify employer.#LI-DN1
