***$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS***Department: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Acute CareShift: DayDaily Work Times: 7:30-4:00pmScheduled Budgeted Hours: 72Position Summary:Works under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. The physical therapist assistant implements selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtains data related to the interventions provided, and makes modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient safety and comfort.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:1. Implements the individualized plan of care as established by the physical therapist.2. Adjusts treatment interventions in response to patient feedback, objective data and observation within the established plan of care. Identifies need for changes in plan of care and communicates with supervising physical therapist.3.
