We are seeking a Quality Associate to join our team and help ensure that our products consistently meet customer and company specifications.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform final, first-piece, and in-process inspections on a variety of parts and assemblies.Conduct inspections using a range of measuring instruments and equipment, following established inspection procedures and allowable variations.Document all inspection data accurately on designated forms per the Quality Control Manual.Make clear, concise decisions regarding product or operation acceptance and rejection.Initiate and complete Certification, QA, and NRC reports as required.During in-process inspections, collaborate effectively with Press Room personnel to ensure smooth production flow.Provide feedback, suggestions, and ideas that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain the inspection area and equipment in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.Understand and prioritize high-demand inspection tasks to maintain workflow efficiency.Adhere to all procedures, including the Safety Manual and Employee Handbook.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.Assist and train press operators in performing their own in-process inspections.Conduct random floor audits to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained.Qualifications:Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gaugesCommitment to safety and continuous improvement.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
