Details Inventory Control Specialist Materials Management Full Time Status Day Shift Pay: $17.58 - $25.49 / hour Summary This position monitors supply usage, sets min/max levels of supply, coordinates/conducts cycle counts, records and optimizes inventory levels as needed. They will ensure that all processes related to the control of an accurate and optimal inventory are followed and enforced. They are also responsible for the physical cycle counting process and daily reconciliation of inventory to ensure product availability sufficient to meet customer's scheduled deliveries and patient's needs. Responsible for the oversight of all inventory locations to ensure accurate levels are maintained to meet patient demands while working to control waste and overstocking. This position works under the supervision of the Manager of Distribution and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Responsible for oversight, accuracy and accountability of all inventory locations and par levels managed by materials management. Audits inventory transactions throughout the ordering, receiving and distribution cycle, resolving inventory discrepancies. Works closely with Storeroom Specialist, Shipping/Receiving Specialist and Purchasing Department to ensure all department goals and scorecard measurements are met. Works with Product Recall Specialist in recall situations to mitigate issues surrounding the recall. Will guide all caregivers as needed to achieve desired results from inventory processes. Assists in the structure and build of new locations as a Par or Asset. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. Obtain Chauffeur's License within 90 days of employment. Proven experience of inventory control methodology using an automated inventory system, 3 year's experience preferred. Medical inventory control experience preferred.
