Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call "Dewberry at Work," that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesField work associated with land surveying.Perform Boundary, Topographic, Tree & Channel Surveys.Assisting with survey computations and data collection as needed.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Required ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of survey experienceAssociates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferredAble to operate Topcon Total Stations, Lieca GPS, static, RTK, RTNFamiliarity with NCDOT Electronic Field Book (EFB) data collectionAbility to shoot TopographyAbility to work remotely under rigorous conditionsFamiliarity with construction plans and RW mapsCertified Survey Technician, Level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframeUtility designating experience a plusExcellent communication skillsMust be reliableAdditional Requirements:Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work areaMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
