Location: 797 Main St, WeymouthDepartment: Perinatal Behavioral Health - SHORE ProgramSchedule:Part-time 32 hours/weekMother hoursAbout the SHORE ProgramThe SHORE Program offers compassionate, comprehensive support for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. Our multidisciplinary team provides medication management, short-term therapy, and recovery services - and YOU can be a vital part of that journey.
Responsibilities
As a Perinatal Peer Recovery Specialist, you'll use your lived experience to provide hope and support to women in early recovery. Offer mentorship, encouragement, and peer support in individual and group settingsGuide women through recovery goals and connect them with resources and sober support networksAdvocate for patients during treatment planning and help break down barriers to recoveryBuild bridges between patients and healthcare, social services, and the recovery communityCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate documentationPromote wellness by encouraging attendance at therapy, medical appointments, and recovery activities Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of Recovery Coach training (ethics included)Certified Recovery Specialist (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)In recovery with a minimum of 2 years of sustained sobrietyHas personal experience with addiction and pregnancyTrained as a Recovery Coach (or willing to complete certification within 6 months)Passionate about helping others find their own path to recoveryA strong communicator and team playerComfortable using basic technology and electronic medical recordsAble to set healthy boundaries and respect confidentiality Why Join Aspire Health Alliance?
