Job DescriptionJoin Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Homewood, AL This is a 5-months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Role: Phlebotomist IILocation: Homewood, AL 35209Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)Hours per Week: 40 hoursStart Date: ASAPPay Highlights: $18-21.30/hour (Based on years of experience)Key Responsibilities:Patient Interaction & Specimen CollectionPerform clinical and forensic phlebotomy following all established procedures.Create a welcoming, trust-based experience, explaining procedures to patients clearly.Collect quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric.Verify patient identity and demographics; ensure tubes are labeled in the patient’s presence.Maintain required logs, documentation, and accurate records.Operational ExcellencePerform daily activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under supervisor direction.Maintain clean, safe, and professional surroundings.Prepare and process specimens according to protocol.Ensure compliance with confidentiality and patient information standards.Customer ServiceDeliver superior customer focus through transparent communication with patients, peers, and supervisors.Represent the company professionally to patients, clients, and the general public.Adapt to change and demonstrate strong process-excellence skills.Flexibility & TravelMust be willing to travel to multiple locations for coverage with minimal notice.Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare, public transit, or drop-offs are not accepted).Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work scheduled hours consistently.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.Interested?
