We continuously improve ourselves through training, innovation, and our relentless drive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.POSITION SUMMARY:The Crew Leader directs all tower technicians on the job site and ensures the timeliness, quality, and safety of the project. Candidates must have 2-3 years of tower technician experience and the ability to manage crews.Responsibilities and Duties:As a member of our growing team, many of the duties include, but are not limited to the following:Plan, delegate tasks, direct and supervise entire crew (leadership and management skills)Conduct pre-project meetings and complete all required paperworkAssess safety hazards and ensure all work is performed following all safety rules and regulationsEffectively train and mentor crew membersDirect successful completion of all scope of work assigned according to construction requirements and quality standards, and within the time frame allottedProvide troubleshooting and support for integration tasksPerform administrative tasks including timesheet submittals, daily reports, expense reports, materials list, etc.Perform punch-walks and submit close out package informationTake responsibility and care for all company equipment, vehicles, and toolsInvestigate and report all accidents/incidents to management and safety department; suggest and implement corrective actionsContribute to performance reviews for crews, motivate, and provide constructive feedbackRequirementsQualifications and Skills:Ability to work with advanced hand/power tools, testing equipment, alignment toolsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitudeAbility to lead the crew to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesBasic computer skills1 year cell site construction experience installing various carriersMust be RF Awareness, CPR/FIRST AID, OSHA 10/30, Comtrain (or equivalent) certifiedAbility to read SA and other paperworkAnritsu, PIM Fiber testing/certificationMust have necessary work tools for Crew Leader positionMust be able to travel away from home for up to 3-6 weeks at a timeValid Driver's License with clean driving record or CDLAbility to operate truck and trailerPhysical Requirements:Must be able to climb and work on the towers, poles, buildings (no fear of heights)Must be able to lift and carry at least 70 poundsMust be able to perform the essential job functions safely and successfullyMust be able to work in inclement weather (snow, rain, heat, high winds, etc.), long hours and a variety of shifts (including night work)Must be able to pass ongoing drug screen testingAuthority:Identifying and report safety hazards, incidents, and accidentsSupervise, guide, and train crew membersBenefits• Company Paid Short Term and Long-Term Disability• Company Paid Life/Accidental Death Insurance• Six (6) Paid Company Observed Holidays• Three (3) Sick days per year• Vacation Program, Starting with 1 week first year• 401K, non-company matching• Exciting social scene and lively• $45 daily per diem• Robust Referral Program• Rewards Program• Vast advancement opportunities through our Training and Career development programs• A shared hotel room provided
