Facilities Technician II Plumber

POSITION TITLE: Facilities Technician II (Plumber)REPORTS TO: Engineering ManagerSUPERVISES: N/AEXEMPT OR NON-EXEMPT: Non-ExemptPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:This position is a team member on the engineering team. As such responsibilities include more than plumbing. The facilities tech II associate is expected to assist with drywall, cleaning, organizing supplies, carpentry, assist water quality team with pipe repairs and pipe fits, help plug window and floor leaks, and other general maintenance (PM) work as needed.Ability to perform preventative maintenance as needed.Ability to use hand and power tools safely.Coordinate projects and repairs with other departments to provide a safe working environment for all staff, guests, and animals.Fabricate various materials to safely achieve assigned work ordersOperate heavy equipment in a safe manner to perform daily assigned work orders.Properly and safely provide preventative maintenance on all facilities related equipmentDetect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.Provide excellent customer service to all staff, guests, and volunteers, while performing daily assigned duties.Additional duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Valid FL driver licenseAbility to drive company vehicles Plumbing journeyman license preferred.A minimum of five years' working experience in a similar role.Basic electrical, mechanical, masonry, HVAC, and carpentry skills.Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.Extremely organized with good communication skills.Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OutlookMust have reliable transportation. Must be available to work nights, weekends, afterhours, and holidays or an oncall schedule as needed.
